We are very proud to announce that acoustic act Front Porch Step, real name Jake Mcelfresh, has signed to Pure Noise Records. Mcelfresh will join an amazing stable of artists including The Story So Far and Handguns.
We spoke to Jake about the signing:
Getting signed to Pure Noise Records is surreal to say the least. Especially since I have been such a huge fan of The Story So Far, and Handguns. I even opened up for Handguns in my hometown last year. When Jake Round came to me, I had already been a fan of his stable of artists but [didn’t] know Jake, and after talking to about 20 different people either signed to pure noise or affiliated, I heard nothing but great things. There was no question whether I wanted to sign or not after that. I [don’t] think I could have made a better choice to represent me than Jake Round.
My first full Length, titled “Aware” is being Released this fall via pure noise records. I am so excited to bring my music to my fans in such an awesome way. I would be absolutely nothing without my fans and would be lost without awesome people like Matt Pike, Kevin Byers, and Dan Steinbok, and so many others going out of their way to help me. [STRAIGHTEDGEWORLDWIDE] was the first magazine to ever take interest in me and I have never forgotten that.
Thank you so much
