Costa Rica hardcore band Miseria have released a new mini-documentary alongside the music video for the song Maldito sea el Dia (Damn the day). The song is off the band’s 2016 full length Crisis. Although the band prefers not to label themselves as a straight edge band, they feature an all-straight edge line-up. Watch the new documentary and music video below.
We spoke to frontman Israel Delgado about the video:
This is a short documentary and music video that we filmed with the intentions to close the cycle of our first full-[length] record named CRISIS and step ahead to new material. Sharing some of the reasons why we play this music and try to keep alive the interest among current hardcore kids and the new ones to come in a small country such as Costa Rica (Central America).
The video is filmed and produced by Valdo from Nasional skateboards. English subtitles are available through YouTube’s Closed Captions feature.
