Swedish straight edge band Anchor have released their third full-length album, Distance & Devotion. The record was recorded at drummer Fred Forsberg‘s Fvck Life Studios. Listen to the new record below.

From the band:

Tomorrow we release our third full-length album. We are happy and proud of what we have accomplished with this band and this record in particular. Blood, sweat and tears may sound like a cliche but [that’s] what we have put into this record that we now recorded 18 months ago. Through highs and lows we’ve been touring, recording, singing, dancing(the best we can),laughing, fighting and loving from the bottom of our hearts for the past 8 years. We have been broke, hungry, hopeless and often those three at the same time.

But we have also been surfing the shores of Australia, bathing in waterfalls in Brazil, getting feed with the most amazing vegan food ever made, on a backyard in Mexico, we have traveled from cost to cost with our best friends in the U.S. We have traveled by boat to islands in South East Asia. We have been through some rough van breakdowns but still we’ve made it to pretty much every show we ever confirmed and [that’s] about 500 by now. Europe, our home, we know the roads here like the back of our hands. The love we got for this scene, the hospitality, what can we say, we owe you everything. Tomorrow starts a new chapter for this band we can’t wait to see what 2015 got for us.

Anchor will hit the road in support of the new record for a short tour of European cities in May.
