Frank Fanelli of The World We Knew and C.A.T. Clothing has been tour managing and running merch tables for bands for more than a decade. With the COVID-19 pandemic shutting down of all tours, Fanelli has launched a new endeavor to help support many of the incredible members of the music industry that have been furloughed by the cancellation of hundreds of tours.
His new project, called 'For The Nomads', started as a GoFundMe page, and has partnered with the 'Unite the United Foundation' to distribute funds those that need it most. And of course, there's sick merch.

For the Nomads is a fundraiser that was started by Frank Fanelli as a direct reaction to the devastating effect COVID-19 has had on those who rely on live entertainment for a living. As a touring musician, tour manager, merchandise seller, and lighting director for more than 14 years, he felt compelled to find a way to help the community that was reeling under the stress of being almost entirely out of work.For the Nomads was born as a necessary reaction to circumstances out of anyones control to mitigate the toll it has taken on everyone involved in this industry.
The date, the fundraiser has raised over $25,000 towards their goal. Some of the touring staff supported by the new project:
