Philadelphia hardcore festival This Is Hardcore has announced its 10th anniversary line up, and it’s incredible. The festival is set for July 23rd – 26th at the Union Transfer and the Electric Factory, and will feature a reunion set by former XVX band Chokehold, the final TIHC appearance from Aaron Bedard’s Bane, a 20th anniversary show from Toby Morse’s H2O, alongside straight edge bands like Break Away, Disengage, Foundation, Mindset, True Love, and Wisdom In Chains. The line up also features former straight edge bands the Geeks, Reach The SkySnapcase, and Slapshot, alongside Code Orange, Chris Linkovitch’s Cruel Hand, Lifeless, Suburban Scum, Daniel Fang’s Turnstile, and Taylor Young with both Nails and Twitching Tongues.

Tickets for This Is Hardcore will be on sale as of 12pm EST on Friday April 3rd. Tickets will be made available as 4-day, 3-day, and single day tickets through the This Is Hardcore website. Day to day line ups will be released later in the week. No word yet on whether or not there will be re-entry.

From the Fest:

Special sets include the return of Chokehold, American Nightmare’s first show back in Philly, the Misfits playing Earth AD in its entirety, the Last Bane TIHC appearance, the Exploited’s first show in the US in over a decade and H20’s 20th Anniversary Set…
This is our finest lineup yet spreading a wide berth of what Hardcore punk was and is from 1980 to 2015.

Thank you for the support and your patience.

I am very proud to have reached this moment and I hope that each of you are there with us in July to make the festival another highlight in hardcore punk.
